1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms form a contract between you (the customer) and AI 4 WATER LTD ("AI4Water", "we", "us") for the digital research, data and analytics services we sell through ai-water.uk and our API — including our agent API endpoints, daily intelligence reports, risk assessments and chat access.

By buying a subscription, an API package, a report or any other paid service, you accept these terms. If you buy on behalf of a company or institution, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

2. What we sell and what it costs

Our currently published offers are:

Prices are per user or per API key unless stated otherwise. Prices are stated exclusive of VAT and of any other taxes or duties; where VAT or another tax applies it is calculated and added at checkout. We may change prices for future billing periods; we will give active subscribers at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and the founding-client price is locked for as long as the subscription is not cancelled.

The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase. Where a price on a marketing page and a price at checkout differ, the checkout price prevails.

3. Delivery and access

All our services are digital and are delivered electronically — by API, by email, or through the website. There is no physical delivery.

You are responsible for keeping API keys confidential and for all use made of them. Tell us immediately if you believe a key has been compromised; we will replace it.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by our payment services provider. Card details are entered on the provider's secure page and are never stored on our systems. You authorise us (through the provider) to charge your chosen payment method for the amounts you have agreed, including recurring charges for subscriptions until you cancel.

If a payment fails, we may suspend access after reasonable notice. Invoices and receipts are issued electronically.

5. Cancellation, refunds and your right of withdrawal

Our cancellation and refund rules, including your statutory right of withdrawal as a consumer in the EU or UK, are set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: you can cancel a subscription at any time and it will end at the close of the current billing period, and we offer a good-faith refund of your first subscription payment if you ask within 14 days and have made limited use of the service.

6. What our service is — and what it is not

Research and data, not advice. AI4Water publishes data, model output, analytics and research. Nothing we publish or deliver is investment, financial, legal, tax or trading advice, a personal recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. We are not authorised or regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority or any other financial regulator, we do not manage money or assets, and we do not act as your fiduciary or adviser.

Our signals are probabilistic and derived from models and third-party data. No result is guaranteed, and past performance of any signal, model or market is not a guide to future results. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for how you use our outputs.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the service for anything unlawful; attempt to access areas or data you have not paid for; circumvent rate limits, authentication or usage caps; resell, sublicense or redistribute our data or reports without our written agreement; reverse engineer our models or software; or interfere with the service or with other customers' use of it.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. If we terminate for our own convenience, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

8. Intellectual property

All rights in our software, models, datasets, reports, marks and website remain with us or our licensors. When you pay, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the outputs we deliver to you for your own internal business or research purposes, for as long as your access lasts. Attribution is appreciated but not required. Third-party data is used under the terms of its providers.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We aim for high availability but the service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, add or withdraw features, models or endpoints. We will not withdraw a paid feature without giving active subscribers reasonable notice, and we will refund unused prepaid amounts for features we withdraw.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing affects the statutory rights of a consumer.

Subject to the previous paragraph: (a) we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or indirect or consequential loss; and (b) our total liability arising out of or in connection with the contract is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or €100. Trading and investment decisions are yours; we are not liable for the outcome of those decisions.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for legal, regulatory or operational reasons. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its version number and date. For active subscriptions we will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes and you may cancel before they take effect.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or in your country of residence, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

13. Complaints and contact

Write to [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 15 business days. Consumers in the EU may also use their national consumer body or the European Consumer Centre network.

These terms were last reviewed on 18 September 2026 (version 1.0).
